Portofino
And to finish the day, we found our way to the infamous Portofino. We had to go see what all the fuss is about. It was the end of the day and most things were closed except for the excellent gelato shop! My hazelnut gelato paired well with my pear and chocolate sorbetto.
Portofino’s beautiful coastline. It’s worth the hype but I’m glad we were there at the end of the day when most people had cleared out. It almost felt like we had it to ourselves. No super-yachts in residence today.

We hiked up a path from the harbour to the lighthouse in time to catch the glorious sunset before we leave Italy. Ciao for now bella Italia!
