Island of Hvar
A morning and an afternoon ride on the island of Hvar from the city of Hvar to Stari Grad where we went to dodge the south winds called Hugo. So far we are ahead of him…
Pulling into the port of Hvar for our day three adventure.
How we get the bikes on and off the boat. Thankfully today we were moored right by the wharf instead of having to carry them through four or five other boats.

Today's route.
Overlooking the port in Hvar where we got dropped off.
Croatian inukshuks in the trees.
Day 3!
Meena and her giant bike.
Yoga break.
This is the little 17th-century Baroque St. John's Chapel in Jelsa. The octagonal church with the bellcote and rose window is apparently Jelsa's trademark.
Jelsa is such a pretty town.
Heading to the beach in Jelsa.
We are not actually going in this direction...
How to dress up a simple gate.
Out for dinner in clothes other than our comment-inducing, matching biking gear. We gave our cook on the boat a night off and had a wonderful meal at Pinetta in Stari Grad.
